07 Oct 2023 Bottle Hill Day Oct 07, 2023 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Bottle Hill Day will be Saturday, October 7, 2024. . This event is a festival celebrating our hometown and downtown with over 10,000 in attendance. Madison Rotary operates a food consession selling hamburgers, hot dogs, beverages, etc as a club fundraiser to support Madison Rotary's charitable distribution program. Volunteers are needed to help with the operation of our booth including set up, break down, food sales, and more. 24 Nov 2023 Madison Christmas Parade Nov 24, 2023 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM Please join your fellow Rotarians by marching in the Holiday Parade on Friday, November 24th. Meet at the Ambulance Corp building on Keep Street at 5:30 pm. The parade itself will begin at 6:00 pm. Madison Rotary has participated in the Madison Christmas Parade for over 25 years. Rotarians walk alongside the Santa Claus float and make sure excited children don't run out to greet Santa. The event is generally over by 6:30 pm. Immediately after the parade is the lighting of the town Christmas tree at 6:30 pm. We need about 20 volunteers to help with this service project.
04 Dec 2023 Ladles of Love - Soup Making Dec 04, 2023 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Soup Making Ladle Out Love and Give a Hug in a Bowl to support survivors of dating, domestic, or partner abuse Enjoy an evening of service by helping to make 64 quarts of soups (cutting vegetables) in conjunction with Soup Sisters to support a local charity. Additionlly, have a great dinner prepared by Healthy Italia with you fellow soup makers. If you have any dietary restrictions contact Carol (information below). This is a BYOB event if you would like. Soup Making will be held at Healthy Italia at 55 Main Street in Madison from 6 to 8 pm. Cost per participant is $40.00 per person and includes dinner. (BYOB) Additionally, Madison Rotary will subsidize $45.00 per person for soup ingredients, use of facilities, etc. Sign up early - maximum enrollment is 18 people Participants can register online (link on left) and pay via credit card. The Taste is also a festive fundraiser that benefits local non-profit initiatives. Chefs from thirty of the area's finest restaurants will serve samples of their best dishes. Gary's Wine & Marketplace, the event's longtime presenting sponsor, will provide guests with fine wine, beer, and spirits. The Taste has a Silent Auction, Tricky Tray, and 50/50 Raffle. The Taste of Madison will be held at Madison Hotel, 1 Convent Road, Morristown from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm.
