Adria Gross, President & CEO of MedWise Insurance Advocacy will speak to members about what is happening in the insurance claims industry.

She will be talking about the Rise to shine education foundation, an initiative which offers scholarships to very vulnerable children.She will talk about FGM and sex for fish manace too.

Daria Delserro of the Milestone House, Dover will speak about the mission, programs, and services of the non-profit.

Users of the upcoming app “Madison Magical History Tour” can browse a map of the borough and learn about the history of about 45 locations.

Madison resident and town historian Scott Spelker is developing the app with the company “Stqry” and expects the app to be available for free on the App Store and Google Play in late July or early August.

The app will feature text, audio, and before and after pictures about every location, and for about 15 of them, Spelker will record a video of himself talking about them.

Spelker said the app will give alerts and pop ups for every location one walks by on the tour, and users just have to click on it to see some “pretty fascinating pictures.”

Nancy Rudgers, Nourish NJ, will speak to our members about Nourish NJ's mission, actions, and impact.

The mayour will speak on whats's happening in Madison.

Elaine Needham will speak about her two non-profits, From Beyond the Garden which focuses on food insecurity and Hestia's Hearth which is focused on helping women survivors of sex trafficking.

This event is a festival celebrating our hometown and downtown with over 10,000 in attendance.  Madison Rotary operates a food consession selling hamburgers, hot dogs, beverages, etc as a club fundraiser to support Madison Rotary's charitable distribution program.

Volunteers are needed to help with the operation of our booth including set up, break down, food sales, and more.

Thursday, October 10th at both the moring and afternoon meetings, Madison Rotary will kick-off its 50/50 raffle.  Thickets and materials will be distributed at both meetings.  Plan now to attend one of these important club meetings.  7:45 am at the MYMC and 12 Noon at Firehouse Pizza.

BREAKING: In a historically shameful decision, the Supreme Court has ruled in #JohnsonVGrantsPass that homeless people are not included in the Constitution’s protections against cruel and unusual punishment. This ruling will make homelessness drastically worse and impact the 250,000+ people who sleep outside each night, as well as millions of Americans who are just one missed paycheck away from homelessness. Arresting or fining people for trying to survive is expensive, counterproductive, cruel, and simply does not work. We are enraged but unsurprised that the Supreme Court sided with out-of-touch billionaires and against the poorest among us.
