The Rotary Club of Madison will host a community shredding day on Saturday, October 23rd, from 9 am until 12noon in Madison’s Public Parking Lot #1 on Kings Road (between Maple Avenue & Prospect Street)(across from Public Safety building).  "The event is open to the public, and it is not necessary to be a Madison resident," the Madison Rotary said in an announcement.  Security Shredding, Inc. will provide secure destruction of sensitive documents, after which the shredded papers will be recycled into other apply.  The cost is $5.00 per box or grocery bag. $10 for larger boxes. All proceeds from the shredding event will be “recycled” by the Madison Rotary for future community projects.  Also during the event, a bicycle repair station will be available as well as the Habitat for Humanity ReStore Truck. Bikes needing repair or adjustment will be done by Paul Lemaire.
