Madison Rotary's Operation Christmas Tree will open Thanksgiving weekend at Dodge Field with hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, on Saturday, Nov. 28 and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 29.  Subsequent weekend hours will be from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.  Weekday sales begin on Monday, Dec. 7 with hours from 4 to 8 p.m.  The sale will be held at Dodge Field, at the corner of Britton Street and Central Avenue. Fraser firs from North Carolina, Balsam firs from Nova Scotia, and Douglas firs from Pennsylvania will be for sale.  Prices range from $40 to $120, with some as low as $18. Also available are undecorated wreaths, from 12 inches to 30 inches, white pine roping, and tree stands plus a variety of decorating accessories.  Cash, credit cards, and checks payable to the Madison Rotary Foundation will be accepted. Home delivery can also be arranged.  All volunteers and customers are required to wear masks and practice social distancing. All proceeds will be used by the Madison Rotary, a 501(c)3 charity, for future community projects.
