December marks Disease Prevention and Treatment Month across Rotary International — a time when Rotarians worldwide renew their commitment to improving global health, expanding access to care, and supporting communities in their journey toward healthier lives.  Disease prevention is one of Rotary’s most significant areas of focus. From providing vaccinations and medical screenings to supporting clinics and training healthcare workers, Rotary clubs play a vital role in reducing illness and improving quality of life. These efforts not only save lives but also strengthen communities by promoting long-term wellness and resilience. Locally, Madison Rotary continues to support initiatives that improve health for people of all ages. Through service projects, grants, and partnerships, the club works to address medical needs, promote healthy lifestyles, and ensure that individuals and families have access to the resources they need to thrive.   As we recognize Disease Prevention and Treatment Month, Madison Rotary encourages members and the community to learn more, get involved, and support programs that make a lasting impact. Together, we can help create a healthier, stronger future for all
