I hope this fine September day finds you well and eager to resume your contributions to the club and by extension our community as we begin the fall season.  The gloriously slow days of summer are behind us. The kids are back in school, summer vacations are behind us and we as a club have a lot on our plate in the weeks ahead.  Bottle Hill Day is Saturday, Oct. 5th and Joe Smith is looking for a lot of us to help grill burgers and hot dogs at our tent for this annual glorious community ay.  The very next day, Sunday, Oct. 6 brings our annual food collection drive from noon to 4 p.m., at the ShopRite in Chatham, while the following Saturday, Oct. 12., features our semi-annual shred-it and ReStore pickup event from 9 a.m. to noon at the ambulance headquarters in Madison. Carmella Moeller is coordinating both efforts and I know  she needs your help. Please look for the sign-up sheets that will be going around at meetings and sign up. We need you there.  We are also staffing a table at the Madison YMCA on Kings Road from 7 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18 to spread the word of our club. I will be there and I could always use the help - and the good company.  We are also in need of someone to staff the registration desk and run the 50/50 at the club meeting in the morning. It is a great way to meet people and it is a real service to the club. Please let me know, if you are interested.  That's it for now. There is a lot going on and we need your help. We have a lot of fun things to do.  Please let me know how you would like to help.  Cheers, Liz
