22 applications for Madison Rotary's "Service Above Self" scholarship award were received this year. The top eight students were interviewed by the Scholarship Committee and five students, Emily Axelsen, Sara Massey, Heather McCulloch, Julia Sales and Amanda Smith were selected to receive $1,000 scholarship awards. The students will be recognized at Madison High School awards ceremony to be held on June 20th. All of the students attend Madison High School with the exception of Emily Axelsen who attends Gill St. Bernards.Students and their families have been invited to attend the July 11th, breakfast meeting of Madison Rotary to receive their checks and make a few comments on their volunteerism and plans for the future.
