Madison Rotary has distributed a personalized dictionary to every third grader in Madison for the last 20 years.  This year the Covid pandemic has made in person dictionary distribution impossible.  Judy Degennaro, Dictionary Program Chair, has worked with all of the schools in Madison and Rotary will continue the long-standing  tradition of ensuring that all of the 218 third graders attending school in Madison will receive their personal dictionary.  Everyone knows that a dictionary is a powerful tool for increasing vocabulary, helping young readers to advance their reading level and expand their written and spoken level of communication and expression.  Below is the video that was shown to all third graders that explains Madison Rotary and the Dictionary program.  For additional information about Rotary or how to join contact Madison Rotary at info@njrotary.org
