The Laws of Life Essay Contest is available to all Madison High School juniors. While the style and mechanics of writing are considered when judging the entries, this essay contest is weighted toward subject content, sincerity and personal insight. The contest is administered in partnership with the Madison High School English Department. Three unrestricted $800 prizes are awarded to the three top essay writers. Two to three unrestricted $150-$200 honorable mention prizes may also be awarded.
